He is responsible for all facets of capital markets, financial reporting, treasury, and tax decisions and strategies. Ken Wong joined DivcoWest in 2016 and serves as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer. He began his career at Laventhol and Horwath as an auditor, received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Boston University, and is a Certified Public Accountant (CA -inactive).
In addition to his other responsibilities, Michael helped create and oversaw GIC’s global real estate debt and hospitality investment programs. During his tenure, GIC grew from a relatively small real estate investor to one of the largest and most respected real estate investors globally, with real estate debt and equity investments in more than 40 countries and across all property sectors. Michael served as their Regional Head of the Americas and Global Head of Investments. In these roles, Michael is responsible for the corporate strategy and internal management of DivcoWest and the platform management and growth for DivCore.īefore joining DivcoWest and DivCore in 2012, he spent nearly 24 years with the real estate investment arm of The Government of Singapore Investment Corporation (GIC). Michael Carp is the President and Chief Operating Officer of both DivcoWest and its parent company DivCore Real Estate Asset Management.
